Location: Kaizer Meadow Landfill Hours: Normally 7:30 am to 4:00 p.m. – Monday to Friday, Subject to Change 8:00 am to 4:00pm – Saturday, Subject to Change Updated: July 18, 2022 SCOPE To successfully carry out the Municipality’s maintenance program for the Kaizer Meadow Landfill and assist the Site Supervisor in the daily operations as required. OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES UNDER LEGISLATION 1. SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS Duties and Responsibilities: The following is a general outline only of the duties and responsibilities involved in this position. It is also not intended to limit the employer’s right to assign other duties. The employee will be expected to work unsupervised for periods of time. Duties:  Landscape work/mowing  General building/ground maintenance (i.e. painting and handiwork), etc.  Vehicle cleaning inside and out as needed  Litter pick-up on site  Public drop off area cleaning and maintenance  Cart cleaning and repairs  HHW (household hazardous waste) packing and maintenance  Sampling and pick-ups as needed.  Other duties as assigned CONTACTS 1.
