F WATER MATTERS F-1 Osoyoos Indian Band Bulk Water Fee Amendment Bylaw 1332.01 R-306/13 It was MOVED and SECONDED That the Osoyoos Indian Band Bulk Water Fee Amendment Bylaw 1332.01 be adopted. CARRIED F-2 Oliver Water Parcel Tax Amendment Bylaw 1333.01 R-307/13 It was MOVED and SECONDED That Oliver Water Parcel Tax Amendment Bylaw 1333.01 be adopted. CARRIED F-3 Water User Fees Amendment Bylaw 1346 R-308/13 It was MOVED and SECONDED That Water User Fees Amendment Bylaw 1346 be adopted. CARRIED F-4 Rural Water Taxation Bylaw 1347 R-309/13 It was MOVED and SECONDED That Rural Water Taxation Bylaw 1347 be adopted. CARRIED Page 2 of 9 Regular Open Minutes of December 9, 2013 F-5 System No.2 Chlorination Upgrade - The Municipal Manager summarized the Engineer’s report R-310/13 It was MOVED and SECONDED That Council reject all tenders as they are over the Towns budgeted amount and pursue one of the alternate options outlined in the background section of the report. CARRIED G DELEGATIONS & PETITIONS G-1 Letter of Support Request from Dwight Brown Re: Provincial Governments future plans for the ALR Mr. Brown addressed Council and requested Council to advise the Provincial Government that Oliver supports maintaining the status quo in the administration of the ALC, independent of government control. R-311/13 It was MOVED and SECONDED That Council receive the information provided by Mr. Brown with respect to the future plans for the ALR and have further discussions prior to addressing the Provincial Government. CARRIED K CORRESPONDENCE K-1 Correspondence Report R-314/13 a) Letter dated November 28, 2013 from S. Morhun, Chair, Oliver and District Heritage Society re: 2014 Operating Funding Request for the Oliver and District Heritage Society. It was MOVED and SECONDED Council advise the Regional District that the Town is in support of the Oliver and District Heritage Society’s request for a $4,500 increase to the Society’s 2014 Operating budget.
