This Bylaw would allow the 2022 Town of Oliver Cemetery services fees to apply to 2023. • Traffic Amendment Bylaw 650.03 – Council adopted Traffic Amendment Bylaw 650.03. This Bylaw would prohibit electric kick scooters from operating on sidewalks. Delegations: Oliver Theatre Society – 2023 Financial Budget Overview – Leah Foreman, Venables Theatre Manager presented the Venables Theatre Annual report for 2021-2022 as well as the 2023-2024 Budget Proposal. South Okanagan Chamber of Commerce – 2023-2025 Business Retention, Expansion, and Relocation Initiative – Council received a presentation from Denise Blashko, Manager of South Okanagan Chamber, for the 2023-2025 Business Retention, Expansion, and Relocation Initiative. Council directed staff to contribute $10,000 as matched funds for the ETSI-BC grant. The contribution of matched funds is conditional on approval of a work plan and contribution from other participating areas also matching funds. Oliver Tourism Association Funding Discussion – Rick Knodel, RDOS Area “C” Director, and Ian Lobb, Executive Director Oliver Tourism Association presented to Council regarding a proposed change in funding structure, between the RDOS and Town of Oliver, for the Oliver Tourism Association. Regional District of the Okanagan Similkameen – 2023-2027 Budget Presentation – Council received a presentation from Jim Zaffino, RDOS Manger of Finance for the RDOS 2023-2027 Five Year Financial Plan. Correspondence Report – January 9, 2023: • Council nominated Councillor Grice for the position of President with SILGA for the 2023- 2024 term. The Town of Oliver is pleased to announce the launch of our new town app. The app features include My Account in which residents can access online services to view and receive property tax and utility bills, view water consumption readings, See Something – Say Something where residents can report an issue and upload a picture, Emergency Alerts to be notified of emergencies, additionally – Contact Us, Events, Council, News, and Waste Services.
