MUNICIPAL OWNED VEHICLES
PERSONAL USE POLICY
Municipal owned Motor Vehicles are not to be used for personal use except when transporting the
vehicle from the place of work to home and vise versa. The employee will maintain a mileage log of
this use and will report it to the Director of Public Works on a monthly basis and it will be used to
calculate the taxable benefit to the employee as per Canada Customs and Revenue Agency's regulations.
