Gates, Senior Economic Development Officer to CAO dated August 21, 2014 regarding Chester
Business District Water Supply – Engineering Design Budget.
4. STRATEGIC PLAN UPDATE:
4.1 Strategic Plan Update from CAO
o Goal #3 – The Municipality will continually ensure sufficient infrastructure is available to
best serve our residents and businesses.
o Goal #4 – The Municipality will strengthen and support environmental, cultural and social
resources.
o Goal #6 – The Municipality will promote conditions conductive to fostering economic
prosperity.
5. CORRESPONDENCE:
5.1 Implementation Update - Municipality of the District of Chester’s’ Active Transportation Playbook
prepared by Gord Tate, Active Living/Transportation Coordinator dated July 31, 2014
(appointment 9:45 a.m.)
5.2 Letter from Municipality of the County of Kings dated August 6, 2014 regarding Notice of Public
Hearing.
5.3 Letter of thanks from Nova Scotia Nature Trust dated August 6, 2014 regarding Council Grant.
5.4 Invitation from Lunenburg County Christmas Tree Producers’ Association Board of Directors dated
August 6, 2014 regarding attending the SMART Tree presentation scheduled for Saturday,
September 20, 2014 at 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the West Northfield Fire Hall, Highway 10.
