1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA

THAT the agenda be approved as circulated.

2. RECORDING OF ATTENDANCE
3. DISCLOSURE OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST
No members present declared a conflict of interest on any of the items on the
agenda at this time.
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MEETING #19-22

THAT the minutes of meeting #19-22 be approved as circulated.

6. BUSINESS ARISING OUT OF MINUTES
6.a ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STEERING COMMITTEE.
Nothing new to report. CAO Hatcher reports no new information following
the conclusion of the BioNB study into the geothermal opportunity.
6.b FUNDY TRAIL PARKWAY.
The Committee requested this item to be removed from future agendas.
6.c SUSSEX POPULATION GROWTH STRATEGY:
6.c.1 COVENTRY WALK SUBDIVISION
Brief Committee discussion on the progress of Phase 2 subdivision
and the ongoing preliminary work of Phase 3 set to begin in the spring
of 2023.
6.d ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS
CAO Hatcher reviews with the Committee the completed installation of the
EV charging stations at O'Connell Park.
Preliminary work is set to begin to set up the billing system for charging
usage. This work is expected to be complete prior to February lst, 2023.
6.e FLOOD MITIGATION PLAN UPDATE
Brief discussion on the planning of the flood mitigation project.
The Committee consensus was offered to Mayor Thorne's increased
involvement with the various government agencies and would be the
logical start to the Town pursuing the necessary funding to begin the
mitigation.

The next regular meeting is scheduled for February 14th, 2023, at 7:00 PM
