Minutes of Meeting of Council
September 18, 2023

Present: Deputy Mayor Wilson, Councillor Nelson, Councillor Brenan,
Councillor Milner, Councillor Maguire, Councillor Bobbitt
Absent: Mayor Thorne, Councillor MacLeod
Staff Present: Scott Hatcher, Chief Administrative Officer, Heather Moffett,
Treasurer, Tara Olesen, Town Clerk
1, Approval of Agenda
Moved by: Councillor Nelson
Seconded by: Councillor Milner
THAT the agenda for this special Council meeting be approved as circulated.
Motion Carried
The purpose of this special meeting was to hold a Hearing of Objections to the
proposed Village of Sussex Corner Rural Plan Amendment, By-law 125-14-04.
2. Disclosure of Conflict of Interest
No members present declared a conflict of interest on any items on the agenda
at this time.
3. Delegations, Petitions and Correspondence - Nil

Deputy Mayor Wilson asked the Clerk if any written objections were
received. The Clerk indicated that no written objections were received.
Deputy Mayor Wilson asked three times if there were any objections from
the floor. No one in attendance had any objections to the proposed by-law

THAT this special meeting of Sussex Council be adjourned.
