HomeMy Public PortalAbout1007 STOP UP AND CLOSE PRINCESS STREET (WARD 1)PAGE 1/2 A BY-LAW TO STOP UP AND CLOSE PRINCESS STREET IN THE TOWN OF SUSSEX BY-LAW # 1007 BE IT ENACTED by the Council of the Town of Sussex pursuant to Section 187 of the Municipalities Act as follows. 1. The Council of the Town of Sussex does hereby stop up and close the highway located in the said Town of Sussex and known as Princess Street, more particularly described as follows. DESCRIPTION OF PRINCESS STREET TOWN OF SUSSEX, KINGS COUNTY, N.B. All that certain lot piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the Town of Sussex, Parish of Sussex, County of Kings and Province of New Brunswick, more particularly described as follows. Beginning at the intersection of the southern boundary of Winter Street and the north-eastern boundary of the Dryden Realty Limited property said point having N.B. Grid Co-ordinate values as follows: X=377 197.868 and Y=714 036.799. Thence on an N.B. Grid Azimuth of ninety degrees, fifty-nine minutes and thirty seconds (90º 59’ 30”) along the southern boundary of Winter Street a distance of fifteen and twenty-one hundredths (15.21) metres to the south- western boundary of the Delmar A. Burton property. Thence on an Azimuth of one hundred and sixty-four degrees, fourteen minutes and fifty seconds (164º 14’ 50”) along the south-western boundary of the Delmar A. Burton property a distance of thirty-seven and sixty-six hundredths (37.66) metres. BY-LAW # 1007 PAGE 2/2 Thence on an Azimuth of one hundred and sixty-three degrees, forty-two minutes and ten seconds (63º 42’ 10”) along a portion of the western boundary of the D.H.E. Weissman Holdings Ltd. & Global Liofil Ltd. property a distance of twenty-eight and twenty-two hundredths (28.22) metres. Thence on an Azimuth of two hundred and fifty-four degrees, twelve minutes and fifty seconds (254º 12’ 50”) along a portion of the northern boundary of the D.H.E. Weissman Holdings Ltd. & Global Liofil Ltd. property a distance of fourteen and twenty-three hundredths (14.23) metres to the north-eastern boundary of the Martin & Stewart Ltd. property. Thence on an Azimuth of three hundred and forty-thr ee degrees, forty-five minutes and forty seconds (343º 45’ 40”) along the north-eastern boundary of the Martin & Stewart Ltd. property and the north-eastern boundary of the Dryden Reality Limited property a distance of seventy and twenty-eight hundredths (70.28) metres to the point of beginning. The so-described parcel of land is distinguished as Princess Street on a “Plan of Survey, Princess Street, Town of Sussex”, prepared by Don-More Surveys Ltd. and dated June 28, 1985. 2. The closure of the highway described in Section 1 is permanent.
