By-law No. 64-01
A By-law respecting traffic on municipal streets in the Village of Sussex Corner
made under the authority of the Motor Vehicle Act, R.S.N.B. 1973, c.M-17, and
amendments thereto, in the Village of Sussex Corner.
Be it enacted by the Council of the Village of Sussex Corner as follows:
Definitions
1. In this By-law:
(a) The words defined in Section 1 of the Motor Vehicle Act, R.S.N.B. 1973, c.M-17,
and amendments thereto, when used in this By-law, shall have the same meaning as
the Act;
(b) "Council" means the Mayor and Council of the Village of Sussex Corner; and
(c) "Village" means the Village of Sussex Comer.
2. (1) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed in excess of 30 kilometers per hour in
Skyline or Cunningham Subdivisions. The following streets are affected by the
change in speed limit:
a) Allison Drive
b) Campbell Street
c) Creighton Drive
d) Cunningham Avenue
e) Meadow Crescent
f) Phillips Street
g) Skyline Drive
h) Stockton Street
3. A person who violates any provision of this By-law is guilty of an offence, and is liable, on
conviction, to a fine of not more than one hundred ($100.00) dollars, and in default
thereof, to imprisonment for not more than thirty (30) days
4. This By-law comes into force on the date of final passing thereof.
