Approval of Minutes 4.a Town of Sussex Special Council Meeting - December 19, 2022 Moved by: Councillor Milner Seconded by: Councillor Nelson THAT the minutes of the special meeting of the Town Council, of the Town of Sussex, held on December 19, 2022 be approved as circulated. Motion Carried 2 4.b Village of Sussex Corner Special Council Minutes - December 20, 2022 Moved by: Councillor Bobbitt Seconded by: Councillor MacLeod THAT the minutes of the special meeting of the Council, of the Village of Sussex Corner, held on December 20, 2022 be approved as circulated. Motion Carried 4.c Sussex Special Council Meeting - December 11, 2022 Moved by: Councillor MacLeod Seconded by: Councillor Brenan THAT the minutes of the special meeting of the Council, of the town of Sussex, held on December 11, 2022 be approved as circulated. Motion Carried 5. Business Arising Out of Committee -Of -The -Whole There was no business arising out of the Committee of the Whole. 6. Delegations, Petitions and Correspondence — Nil 7. Fire Report Moved by: Councillor Nelson Seconded by: Councillor Brenan THAT the Fire Report for the month of December 2022 be received as circulated. Motion Carried The report indicated that during the month, the Fire Department responded to a total of 26 calls with 10 calls originating within the Town of Sussex and 16 out of town calls. 8. Building Inspector's Report 8.a Building Inspector's Report to Council - December Moved by: Councillor Bobbitt Seconded by: Councillor Maguire THAT the Building Inspector's Report for the month of December 2022 be received as circulated. Motion Carried The report indicated that during the month, there were a total of three permits issued for renovations, repairs or alterations for a value of $36,861. 3 8.b Building Inspector's Year End Report Moved by: Councillor Milner Seconded by: Councillor Brenan THAT the Building Inspector's Year End Report for 2022 be received as circulated. Motion Carried The report indicated that in 2022 the Building Inspector issued 32 permits for New Construction and 147 permits for Additions, Repairs, Renovations, Alterations and Demolitions for a total of $17,930,358. 9. Development Officer's Report Moved by: Councillor Brenan Seconded by: Councillor Nelson THAT the Development Officer's Report for December 2022 be received as circulated. Motion Carried The report indicated that during the month there were five Surveyor's Real Property Reports and one Tentative Subdivision Plan submitted for approval. 10. Motion Carried Moved by: Councillor Brenan Seconded by: Deputy Mayor Wilson THAT Council accept the fee proposal of Dillon Consulting to implement the new Municipal Plan and Zoning By-law amendments as highlighted in the work plan proposal dated August 31, 2022, in the amount of $34,375.00 exclusive of HST.
