2. DISCLOSURE OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST
No members present declared a conflict of interest on any of the items on the
agenda at this time.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MEETING 14-24

THAT the minutes of meeting 14-24 be approved as circulated.

5. BUSINESS ARISING OUT OF MINUTES
5.a SUSSEX POPULATION GROWTH STRATEGY:
5.a.1 COVENTRY WALK SUBDIVISION
A brief discussion takes place on the status of Phase 3 of the Coventry
Walk Bryant Drive extension.
CAO Hatcher indicates that work continues. All exterior work with the
exception of 3 garage doors has been completed. Construction work to
complete on the last 4 buildings in Phase 3 construction should begin
shortly.
5.b ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS
CAO Hatcher advises that the next two chargers to be installed should
begin in early April.
All equipment has arrived, however warmer weather is necessary to place
the concrete pad.
5.c FLOOD MITIGATION PLAN UPDATE
There was a brief discussion on the Flood Mitigation plan related to
outreach by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and recent media
attention.
6. NEW BUSINESS
6.a MULTICULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF SUSSEX, MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 24 2024
Deputy Mayor Wilson highlights the Multicultural Association of Sussex
Meeting Minutes from their February 24, 2024 meeting.
Deputy Mayor Wilson provides details of the 2024 event planning
underway at MAS and the leadership transition of Executive Directors in
the Summer of 2024.
Correspondence received and filed by the Committee.
6.b KINGS REGIONAL SERVICES COMMISSION - FEBRUARY 28, 2024
AGENDA
Mayor Thorne provided background information of the decision made by
the Kings Regional Services Commission at their February 28, 2024
meeting.

6.c COMMUNITY RESILIENCY QUARTERLY REPORT 02-02-2024
There was a brief discussion on the February 2, 2024 Community
Resiliency Quarterly Report. The various initiatives in the Kings Regional
Service Commission are reviewed by the Committee.
The Committee has received and filed the information.
